San Jacinto is a 4th class municipality in the province of Masbate, Philippines. It is located in Ticao Island. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 24,780 people in 5,652 households.

Economy

For many years, the local economy of San Jacinto was based mainly on fishing. But recently investments in tourism related activities started to pour in with investments in resort development on its coastal waters. Newly built resorts include Ticao Island Resort and Altamar Resort.
